Your child will have a 'Reading Reward Card' in their reading record. Please ensure that your child reads each day - continuing to read with them is wonderful! If your child reads every day in one week they will receive one stamp. When they have achieved 4 stamps your child will be given a reward in school. If you are unsure about anything, please speak to a member of the team. Respect

Life Skills has focussed on respect: how we can show respect to others, and also how we would like to be respected in different spheres of life. We reflected on respect online, between friends, strangers and family members.

Basketball

We have been practising dribbling and shooting to improve our skills in basketball. It has been wonderful to be back with our friends and classmates again to work together.

Fruity Thinking

Our S.U.M.O (Stop. Understand. Move On.) principle for this half-term is: Fruity Thinking. Although we might not have control over things that happen to use, we can have greater control over how we respond. Fruity Thinking helps us to make our positive thoughts a little louder!

Evolution

In Science we have been about evolution. Through fossil records, we have studied our evidence for change over time. Through experimentation and modelling, we have explored the mechanism of natural selection and the time scales involved evolution.
