Safer Internet Day 2022
For the week beginning 7th February, St Edmund's children took part in Safer Internet Day.
EYFS, KS1 and KS2 spent time completing activities to develop their awareness of keeping Safe Online.
EYFS
EYFS learned how to be safe online by reading the e-book DigiDuck and the Magic Castle, then making masks of the characters including 'Wise Owl'!
KS1
KS1 listened to the story of ‘Digiduck and the Magic Castle’ and then discussed how we can stay safe online.
LKS2
LKS2 offered advice to people who feel under pressure when gaming, creating a list of rules to follow when using the internet.
UKS2
UKS2 learned ways to be respectful online, completed a quiz about reactions to online interactions, and created our own ‘Gaming Guide’ characters to help others stay safe online. They would be helpful mascots with words of advice to show users during app and game use.
